“By the light of the first star descended a second revelation: Come it thrice or four times again, judge not man's oft-repeated folly. Give naught but as oft-repeated forgiveness. On the gods' six-sided checkerboard, He was the seventh piece. Buffeted by the advent of eight disasters, movements of rival players, He wove his way around the board, guided by the flickering light of nine planets. Reaching the other side at last, He was kinged tenfold. He is that which is end. That which covets sin. The final god of pain—the purest light, the darkest hour. And He shall rise again. When the guiding shine fades and all seems lost He will call to you. Fear not. All He offers is not as dark as it may seem. For Nezarec is no demon, but a fiend, arch and vile in ways unknown. He is a path and a way, one of many. And his sin—so wicked, so divine—is that he will never cower when dusk does fall, but stand vigilant as old stars die and new Light blinks its first upon this fêted eternity.” — Passage from Of Hated Nezarec

Nezarec was the first of a series of bio-mechanically enhanced Annunanki that would later become known as the Necramech. He was a vile, twisted creature - infused with the Crux of the fallen and scientific nanites known as Kilronomia. Influenced by the maddening power of Crux forbidden from answering the call of Nergal, Nezarec quickly succumbed to the cyber plague and fell into violent tendencies. As such, he was called upon time and time again to be the "Hidden blade of the 10th Front"; a wrathful executioner who acted in the benefit of Goro Va'lai without publicly tarnishing the factions image. His methods were so treacherous, so feral that he would often be mistaken as an envoy of Agdayne, an imperator of the Seperatist Legion. With every battle won, every mission successful, every enemy of the 10th Front put to rest, Nezarecs legend grew; until finally he was dispatched to Wardu'um. Hasmed, the W.A.R.D.E.N of Wardu'um had been compromised by a rogue band of criminals rumored to be led by Azagoth Needlebane. For the sake of cosmic balance and prevention of another superpower being born, Nezarec was artillery fired into the HQ of Hasmed, using his Basilisk as a casing - and he the bullet. Bypassing just enough of the defenses to infiltrate Hasmed, Nezarec promptly culled the rogue force of bandits that sought a power beyond their ken - though Azagoth was no where to be found. Word of his slaughter spread, and henceforth the culling of Wardu'um by Nezarec, he became known as "The Hated", for the utterance of his name is a wish for death - and the ire of the 10th Front is all but a guarantee that your end would be by his hand. Following the "success" in Nezarecs experimental creation - many other Necramechs followed, though widely unburdened by the same sufferings of the progenitor. Having learned from the first folly, only one flaw remains to persist amongst the Necramech species; an insatiable need to kill for nourishment. Though Annunanki may be immortal by nature, the cruel genesis of the Necramech demand a feast of flesh and blood to anchor their crux to their core, lest their vile origin claim them, forbading them from Elysium. PERSONALITY & traitsWhile Nezarec has an extensive history of being a blood-crazed killing machine, he is actually a very wise and collected person - though that aspect of him deteriorates in conjunction with his physical state. He is easily lost in battle, showcasing out of character tendencies possibly related to the cyberpsychosis of his creation. He carries a lot of pride as a warrior and almost never turns down a challenge in hopes that one day, by growing strong enough, he may overcome his inherent weaknesses. His behavior is like a toggle switch that is flicked between business and insouciant, knowing when it is necessary to be either of the two. He can also be very dogmatic, sometimes forgoing his personal feelings and beliefs for that of the 10th Front. |

"Aching and ethereal, in your silence is the beating heart of wisdom. Eminent and primal, in your kingdom is the cult of the risen. To you I deem: devoted, unwavering, and regal sovereign!" - Nezarec, pledging allegiance to Nekusar
|Brief overview|
When Nezarec was first born from The Deep, a mystic darkness plagued him - a foul veil reminiscent of the essence the Blind Eternities wield. Through age and consultation with The Deep, Nezarec would eventually commune with the Blind Eternities; more specifically Nekusar. This fated encounter would awaken Nezarecs late blooming permutation as, what is widely considered to be the first user of Blight, and a Magus at that.
Plagued doomstar
- Projectile - [Doom]
Doom is a concentration of the impurest of Blight forced into fission, expanding into an extremely volatile scatter grenade when cast from ones hand. The potency of this ability is witnessed by the runic markings etched into Nezarecs arm - sort of like a charge meter. At max power this ability can be cast as a short range shotgun like blast - completely obliterating what it interacts with. - Movement Ability - [Phantom Forcestep] This movement ability takes advantage of the "shadow hypothesis", the scientific theory that shadows move faster than the speed of light. Because a shadow is not an object, it is not bound by physical laws and can thus break them. Nezarec is capable of moving at the speed of shadow, blinking into the absences of light by metafusing into Blight/The Deep. - Melee Ability - [Egregore Javelin] By utilizing the same concept of the aforementioned "Doom", instead build the power in both hands, fusing them together before stretching them out into a fiery spear of volatile Blight. Rather than a traditional melee ability, Nezarec contains his Blight in the form of a javelin. This weapon can be freely thrown and recalled at will - with each impact unleashing a mushroom cloud of ravenous Blight. This weapon loses durability over time and ends in a catastrophic explosion of energy. (Because the unnatural containment of Blight erodes over time, the force gets more and more agitated as it passes, destroying its own vessel as well as anything not Blight-attuned upon its expiration) - Modifier | Passive - [Lord Of Gehenna] Nezarec is forcefully attuned to The Deep, more specifically Nekusars personal domain. As such, wherever he travels when his permutation is in effect is plagued by Blight visually, though what is actually happening is far more terrifying. Nezarec is passively planar terraforming, inverting the physical world he interacts with and flipping it into the corruptive realms of The Deep. When he resides in the negative plane his power is drastically amplified with what can be called a "home-turf" advantage. His abilities become practically free of energy cost, doubled, or even tripled in power and range and can be cast autonomously. When an ability is cast, a small radius of Blight is "consumed" and deactivated, temporarily becoming unusable. This is offset by surrounding Blight, regenerating the spent patch. - Super Ability - Wrathfire Cataclysm By flipping the axis of his passive, Lord Of Gehenna - Nezarec is capable of applying it to the sky from end to horizon end. In doing so, all of the effects that would ordinarily sprawl from the earth instead rain down from the sky. Giant meteors of Blight fall in dozens, revenant souls of the damned and an acid rain of Blight energy all pour down from the "Sky" of The Deep. In turn, this dreadful skyfall will apply his passive effects to the land as well, initiating an infinite cycling loop of the two. This technique is offset only by its augmentation which can be referenced here ----------➣ |
- Augments -
Lord Of Gehenna; Doom - If Doom is cast upon the consecrated ground it will erect a militia of volatile Blight skeletons. Lord Of Gehenna; Phantom Forcestep - Shadowstep movements leave behind portals of Blight. When a portal is entered, spirits of the damned and surrounding Blight energy are pulled out of them and amplified - released as an explosion upon exit on the other side. Lord Of Gehenna; Egregore Javelin - Rather than manifest a spear in his hands, Nezarec is capable of generating a field of spikes with short life spans in the same manner as the Javelin. These have the forefront purpose of piercing, but ultimately exist to explode and consume. Alternatively, these can also be launched from the ground like missile silos, ravenously hunting down their focused target. - Super Ability (Alt) - [Doom To All, A Blighted Scourge Descends!] By establishing an augmented Phantom Forcestep between Heaven & Earth, Nezarec is capable of quantum-tunneling the Blight energy into a "Speed of shadow" railgun that constantly amplifies itself with each passing. At the peak of its power, if the opponent were not to be destroyed by this dimensional enhancement of Blight - Nezarec can bestow the Blight unto Nekusar as a gift to infuse his Basilisk with the Blighted Drake, Bashmu. This supercreature is an envoy of The Deep, a scourge of energy sent to destroy. None have lived to tell of Nezarecs capabilities when paired with this foul creature.. |
devour, destroy, duplicate, dragoonPassive - [Will Of Undeath] - The Dragoon Variant is capable of acting independently of its owner: activating on its own accord, diverting resources where needed and possesses its own "willpower" - allowing it to temporarily surpass it's normal limitations with its will to live.
Primary - [Heads Of Hydra] - Utilizing the Crux of its past wielder(s), the Dragoon symbiotically shares Permutation affinities, allowing one to cycle through the various classes as well as using them in sync / fusing their power. Secondary - [Ravenous Consumption] - Dragoon is able to devour non-organic material, temporarily adopting its traits / building a tiered resistance towards whatever it may be. (Eating a sword to generate steel shields - consuming fire to become heat resistant) - When mass amounts of a single non-organic material is consumed, the traits / resistance can become permanent. Tertiary - [Dragoon Gauge] - Retapping the Aegis symbol while the shields are "Red-hot" instantly cools them down and translates the damage they sustained into a volatile expulsion of energy. As a demerit, if this is not used in time the Aegis will hibernate for an entire minute as opposed to the normal ten seconds, completely depowered. Quaternary - [Effigial Bahamut] - The Dragoon Aegis can temporarily separate itself from its wielder, though the symbiotic link they share remains unchanged. As such, the Aegis is capable of utilizing the aforementioned abilities, on top of sharing the abilities, senses and damage of its partner. The abilities are cast at a lesser level, the sensory transmission is "Hive-Mind" instant & though damage is shared, so is healing. |
The Dragoon Variant is a ravenous Aegis said to have consumed the Crux of its past deceased wielders. As such, it has obtained a sentience of sorts, capable of independently activating like a symbiote in order to preserve it's own life by defending it's owner. Will you be consumed, or will your wrath sustain you?

Necramech - Bio-mechanical Annunanki infused with nanites known as Kilronomia. Each Necramech is a unique entity with their own identity, aesthetic, specialty and purpose. They are the secret weapons of the 10th Front, a taboo science given life by its scientists. The Necramech can never ascend to Elysium and will forever drift in Limbo with no return, lest they satisfy their hunger and kill to exist.
Basilisk - Unique war droids / personal ships built upon the creation of a Necramech. They are used for planetary incursions and are typically fired like cannon balls from ships in orbit. They are made of the same nanites that a Necramech is as well as other durable alloy from across the system. They are each armed with their own weapons that pertain to the theme of their associated Necramech, some even taking the shape of bio-mechanical creatures as opposed to robots. They can be controlled remotely and act independently of their Necramech and often used as mobile bases for them.
Kilronomia - Specialized nanites created using W.A.R.D.E.N intelligence and Annunanki remains. They are a taboo, an unimaginably frowned upon creation that, if it were ever to go public, could destroy the identity of the 10th Front. They were first theorized by the scientists of the 10th Front and only made to realization upon the experimentation of Nezarec at his noble sacrifice. Since their progenitor, they have become a much more tame technology, capable of being controlled with a much greater precision by newer Necramechs. The Kilronomia can separate from a Necramechs body to generate weaponry, armor and even basic essentials. They are powered by the Necramech, which is conversely powered by the need to feed.
