AEGIS armor
-[LUCIS]: Some will tell you that the Aegis is counterintuitive. What's the point of wearing flashy armor, so that your enemies will see you glisten three leagues away? Me, I prefer something with . . . confidentiality. [Feedback 3:94]
-[DARE]: It's one thing to see us coming. It's another thing to do something about it. [TRANSMISSION ENDS 4:01]

The Aegis Armor is currently the most advanced piece of tactical military apparatus in Annunaki hands. Each suit alone costs as much as one can earn in their entire lifetime, even a small amount of the material its made out of being astronomically expensive. An invention of Vauban Antilles, the Aegis is the genius' attempt to create a powered exoskeleton capable of taking full advantage of the physical capabilities of an Annunaki. It features a tattoo (traditionally unique to an individual person or family) stationed around the chest that when beat with the fist, activates into a sentient battle suit of overlapping layers. It is a sealed armor, hardened against radiation, featuring filters that are effective at removing toxins and bacteria from the atmosphere. The armor's outer shell is composed of a multi-layer alloy of remarkable strength and has been augmented with a refractive coating capable of dispersing limited amount of attacks of any kind. The energy shielding consists of a field of energized particles surrounding the Aegis that deflects physical objects and nullifies friction. Destroying the shield causes it to shatter around the wearer in the form of prismatic shards, with a recharge rate that depends on the variant. The paint scheme of ones Aegis usually represented its wearer's state of mind, or their personal mission. For instance, carbon-red represented a quest for vengeance, while chrome indicated a desire for justice.
When the Adamantine takes higher levels of damage, it shift colors from the base color, to brighter and darker yellows until eventually reaching red, almost as though overloading. When an Aegis' shields reaches its peak, they are a blood red, ultimately shattering if it's pushed beyond that. A ten second cool-down is the approximate downtime before a Annunaki can re-activate their Aegis, but this can vary from one variant to another. This is the center module on the chest piece recharging enough energy to "spawn" the armor, but if the center component or "Aegis" itself is removed or destroyed, it can be dismantled permanently. A very unique feature of the Aegis bolsters the ability to "stack" or "connect" other relics or weapons to the infrastructure of the armor, as the material is highly flexible and can also amalgamate with solid objects. An example of this would be to attach Artifacts to the shoulder plate of your Aegis, fusing (grafting) an Iron Thane into the actual gauntlet, or seal actual techniques into the neural interface. The item and the selected armor piece will both glow with a phosphorescent gold or brighter shades of red, as though they were melting together into a combined piece. Discarded objects can be pulled into a magnetic pull coming from the Aegis to attach to the armor and transform it into an armor befitting the environment for different abilities, camouflage and etc.

Because of this, the battle suits are divided into a collection of diverse models, each of which personifies a great warrior spirit. Annunaki may don the Nemean Aegis to gain its prowess with invulnerability, raw strength and ferocity, for instance. Each model of the Aegis is moreover highly configurable, meaning they can be tailored to their choice to fit fighting styles. While certain Aegis excel in particular situations, none are limited to a single role and no role demands the use of a singular Aegis.
Each Aegis features four unique and extraordinary activatable powers that allow for a large degree of control over the surrounding environment. They also possessive passive abilities, powers which activate on their own accord. These powers allow an Annunaki to cast virtually anything, with examples ranging from devastating waves of energy to bullet-nullifying barriers or even mass healing. Aegis greatly augments the physical abilities of a Annunaki as well, affecting natural skills like swordsmanship, marksmanship and, most notably, acrobatics. Annunaki are usually handed down an Aegis from an ancestor, some of which have had their fair share of lifetimes. |

WALKERS
The Walker is the final evolution of the Aegis armor and very few Aegis have this feature built into its design. Walkers were originally created to combat the threat of the Reclaimers, although some Walkers functioned to assist the Annunaki in shepherding other organic races. Like all Annunaki, all Walkers have a core located on the solar plexus region in a similar manner to their smaller counterparts.
They also have regenerative capabilities. It is directly stated that they are capable of regenerating damaged or destroyed organs, including the ability to convert foreign biomass to its own. Likewise, Walkers can lose their limbs or even their head and have them reattached. The pilot feels everything their Watcher feels when synchronized with them, experiencing the pain of injuries the Watcher sustains. Although the pilots feel the pain of these injuries, they do not actually sustain them.
