"Gadorah, mother morph of Dorah, we delight in your sharp mind. [...] We are pleased with your use of our larvae to create mighty knights and plentiful warriors. The Forerunner's retreat to Nibiru proves your superior strength. But you must know that reclaiming your home is not enough."
-Wael's larvae communicating with Gadorrah, following the Forerunner Order's defeat on Mala-Ged.
Gadorah, the Witch-Queen, formerly known as Dorah, is a Reclaimer Magus and sister to Zova Irae, Goddess of War and Vraku'ul the Worm King. Together with her two siblings, she was a progenitor of the contemporary Reclaimer species and one of its chief gods, having made a pact with the Emanations of the Blind Eternities. She is driven to understand the deepest secrets of the universe. After the Reclaimer's conquest of Mala Ged, Gadorah and her Reclaimers left her siblings and ventured into a black hole, claiming that they needed to grow different from each other. Gadorah conspired with Agdayne to overthrow and seal away her father, Atriox, for reasons that are unknown and largely speculated. Her actions led to the crowning of Agdayne as Domina of the Seperatist Legion, and following his defeat against the 10th Front, has stepped up herself to become the first Domina of the Legion's thousand-year lifespan. Under her rule, the Legion has changed its dogma to learn more about the inheritors of the Mantle of Responsibility.
biographyI am Dorah, middle daughter of the Demon of the Boreal Valley. I will take back my home and eat the mother jelly. I will raise my spawn on the corpse of the Forerunner Master. On my right eye I promise this." Gadorah was born Dorah on the gas giant Mala Ged with her sisters Vraka and Ziva; her father was the Demon of the Boreal Valley, Atriox. She was surrounded by the short-lived species called "Malamite" whose original home-world had crashed into the gas giant millions of years ago. Dorah was tutored by a Malamite Motherspawn, the only Malamite capable of spawning children, which also allowed them to live longer by eating "Mother-jelly" at adulthood. The Malamite's harsh lives convinced Dorah at an early age to become a Mother, not because she wanted children or feared dying, but because she wanted to live long enough to have meaning in her life.
When her father left them behind to rule Mala Ged, the Forerunner Order invaded her court in order to claim the planet in a civil war, forcing Gadorah to escape with her sisters. Together with her sisters she swore a blood-oath, upon her right eye, to become a mother and raise her spawn on the corpse of the Forerunners. During the aimless journey at the behest of Dorah's fear that she would soon be "too old to eat the Mother jelly," they reached the deepest point in Mala Ged's crust, and just then, they dove into the core. Reaching the very center of Mala Ged, the three sisters found the Emanations. The Emanations offered the three sisters a chance for them to escape Mala Ged as well as achieve immortality. All they had to do was take the Emanations larvae into them as symbiots and spread them among the Annunaki. The Emanations posed the caveat that the sisters must never cease their natures, and they accepted this pact, becoming the first Reclaimers. Each sister accepted a symbiote of their own--Gadorah took Astraeus as her own. Gadorah spent ten human lifetimes studying the Emanations, deciphering the complexities of their language, the utterance of which would tip a mortal mind into madness. |

personality & traits
When you attempt to theorize a system, that is your cunning showing. Then in the same vein, whenever a sentient being that is capable of mental synthesis attempts to understand me and fails . . . has my cunning not conquered theirs? From henceforth, I shall harvest power from every incorrect assumption, every misguided theory, dreaded rumor, and ominous superstition that derives from the thought of me.
-Gadorah, on her passive harvest.
Contrary to the popular opinion, Gadorah is not dishonest in spite of her Worm's implications. She's very complicated, moreso than her brother and sister, as she is not the Queen of Lies like other characters in the Tenth Planet multiverse like to claim. Instead, she's the Queen of Cunning. When you ask what the difference is, an analogy comes to mind; is a magic trick a lie? Or are the onlookers too simpleminded to understand the machinations of the magic trick?
powers & abilities
Gil'im Shuhadaku (lit; Supreme Murdering Daggers): This power revolves around Gadorah conjuring mirror-like shards of the Deep which she can then shape, which appear as though they're made of inky glass. In addition to simply piercing their targets, these shards are capable of absorbing living beings, temporarily containing them in a pocket of extradimensional space known as the The Below-Space. They can trap enemies, hold people captive, or rescue allies in the heat of battle. While inside, the detainee is unable to affect the goings-on around them, though can be seen and communicated with as though through a thick pane of glass.
