Khan-8
overview
Financial prosperity and wealth reign supreme on the planet of Khan-8, a beacon of trade and commerce to the galaxy. One of the first worlds subjugated in Adonai's conquest during the Age of Starlight, the denizens of Khan were ushered from their archaic practices with the new technology brought in by the Forerunner Order. With his interference, technological advances pitted the natives of the land against one another and civil war ravaged the planet like an unforgiving curse. For a century, Khan-8 saw the destruction of its formerly spiritually-inclined culture for a new technologically advanced society at the hands of the Earthwalkers. Forced to fend for themselves after Adonai's departure, many secret societies sprouted up from the ruins of the old world. The most notable society is a group of assassins known as The Sicarri'i. The Sicarri'i are directly responsible for the assassination of the Emperor of the Earthwalkers legion, which ended the one-hundred-year-war. This established a new world of business and mercantilism.
geographyNeon lights illuminate the entrancing life of Khan's business architecture and culture. Skyscrapers and other buildings encompass most of the planet expanding as far as the eye can see. The beautiful city luminescence appear like strobe lights that never dim or extinguish, showcasing the world's never-ending pursuit for business negotiations. Much of Khan's plant life has been uprooted and replaced with industrial complexes and markets to expand occupation space for intergalactic trading. To ensure that the planet remains habitable for standard living, the natives created plant sanctuaries in the middle of the metropolis. Animals are often found in these sanctuaries and hidden in unexplored and untouched regions of the planet. What was once great plains filled with fields are now nothing more than gray metal strongholds for trade.
