Greed and denial will seduce any destruction... even our own. We're blind to future consequence, casting our debts on those to come. But what if now, justice sought revenge? A brutal thorn... piercing the gushing ulcers of waste. A new green... sown upon sanguine ground. Fertilized... with the blood and bone of its defilers. He is coming.

Ninurta
|
|
Summary: Companion to all woodland creatures, both mundane and fantastic, Ninurta has been seen with fawn and wolf, nymph and satyr, and even trees come to life. He protects and nurtures those that respect his domain. In the folklore of the Annunaki, Ninurta is the ultimate source of all life—the seed from which all living things grow. In the presence of Ninurta, crops blossom and herds thrive, and the wake of its wanderings determines the course of the seasons. Old and wise, Ninurta views the passing of time with ease and understanding. His laughter is the wind in the leaves, his touch the sprout of flowers from the earth, and his voice the call to calm the most savage beast. He is slow to anger and slower to act, which is why his presence on the battlefield is so strange. As the war between Gods and Reclaimers spills into the idyllic realms Ninurta keeps, he is left with no choice but fight back. He controls the sphere of rebirth. In the beginning, Ninurta would create the flora and fauna on planets of his choosing and watch them grow - then wither upon Mars' harsh judgement. He continued to nurture life, but Mars did not appreciate them. It is here that Ninurta cultivated the power of rebirth, or Aethereus. He could recreate anything from its ashes or even from nothing. |
New Moon (25%) / Spring Equinox
New moon phase, also known uniquely to Ninurta as the Spring Equinox. The activation of Ninurta is seen as a burst of wind from your body, passing through the grass in waves, carrying with it seeds of growth. These seeds undetectably will flow across the landscape and burrow into the cool soil, which is important as the seeds will become a pivotal part of Ninurta to explain how you possess a connection to an opponent. Your stages turn on the sacred wheel, Spring to Summer, Summer to Autumn, and Autumn at last to Winter. Ninurta was there at the shaping of the wheel, but did not make it. He is both master of it and slave to it, transforming you with the seasons like the world beneath your feet. When you activate Spring Equinox, your hair will lengthen and become an iridescent green, resin coating your armor or clothes if you were wearing them. Over your face envelopes a tribal mask that is shaped to the likened of a stag, your body clothed in moss and leaves, eyes burning through the peek holes like untended embers. You're master here, and you will not tolerate interlopers. Your hands are able to manipulate plants by stimulating those in the vicinity or by creating your own--INCLUDING an index of plants from all around the galaxy, some strange and exotic. This allows you complete access to the movements, abilities and genetic makeup of any plants that fall under your control. It's important to note that the plant life you create are able to manipulate their own life-force in any hostile environment, adapting to any suitable area. For that reason, Ninurta holds dominion over the elements, able to withstand any of them. In water, you're able to manipulate mangroves, marine algae, sea-grasses and many other aquatic plants. Heat-style attacks feed the same nutrients to create rapid growth on your plants that would be seen in sunlight. In darkness, you're able to create a number of high-rise mushrooms that are poisonous, releasing belching fumes toxic to the human body. In a sense, you're able to survive and nourish in any environment, dangerous or not.
If you decide to enter your "spring" form, your hair will become a somber orange, a bouquet flowers growing from the crevasses in your armor and from your hair. It will almost immediately rain from a downcast sky, but the rain will be hot and the sun will still be able to be seen behind cracks in the clouds. This is perfect weather for your environment as the rain drenches the soil and the sun casts light over the plants, encouraging monumental growth. In your spring phase, you manipulate the concepts of rebirth, renewal and regrowth, which are the powers/forces that spring represents. The feats you're able to accomplish now are:

Release a soft, scintillating orange glow from your palms onto any wound or ailment and slowly cleanse them. This can mean wounds inflicted on you or an ally, but it can also be used to undo esoteric things such as: toxins, poisons, curses, seals. It does this by pumping X amount of healing energy into X amount of energy spent to create a seal or curse, shattering it.
You can sense the overall well-being and conditions of your immediate surroundings, such as the dry leaves on the ground, the swaying grass or the branches on trees. Any disturbance will relay back to you, but this can make your senses go haywire if there's too many disturbances. This is due to your psychic sensitivity to nature in all biomes. In hand with this, you also control the ecosystem emphatically. If you're roused to anger, the ecosystem will respond in suit, becoming furious and raw. Blades of grass may literally sharpen to blades and pursue an opponent, the earth itself might attempt to swallow them, and trees will "happen" to fall directly on them while they're fleeing.
Aim your palm at any organic matter and watch it violently undergo years of growth in an instant. This can only be cast once every five minutes in this form, but it is collectively also the most versatile technique this form has to offer. Remember, you gain control unto all things organic, including lifeforms. You're able to induce the fertility in things to cause botanical growth at a rapid rate.
-Godless Garden: A technique derived from the idea of making an opponent your own personal depot of energy. This first starts by manipulating the microscopic fungi in the air through forced fertility to become miniature, living servants. Once these small warriors come into contact with the opponent, their bodies break down and become slime-like, latching on and beginning spreading a pollen all over the opponent's body. In truth, the pollen is really multiple seedlings that are now covering the opponent and are fueled by the opponent's own energy, so the more the opponent exerts themselves, the faster they cause the seedlings to grow. Once the seeds have fed off of the opponent enough, they will sprout into a bark-like armor that proceeds to fuse with their flesh and while this armor will protect them from harm, it also begins to create roots from their feet that will eventually latch onto the ground, resulting in them becoming immobilized. This armor is not easily removed, but trying to do so will result in an excruciating pain as the opponent will have to remove their own flesh as well. As the armor takes 'root', the opponent's energy will begin to drain into their now tree-like form, producing fruit that you can then consume to restore energy or unlock their powers.

Hormones are chemicals released by a cell or an organ in one part of the body that affects cells in other parts of the organism. In essence, it is a chemical messenger that transports a signal from one cell to another, such as: stimulation or inhibition of growth, mood swings, induction or suppression of apoptosis (programmed cell death), activation or inhibition of the immune system, fighting, fleeing, and other activity. With a connection to an opponent (can be the seeds) you are able to induce adrenaline, anger, augment the body, put unconscious, suppress pain and many other things an opponent or yourself.
You're able to create, shape and manipulate beautiful flowers in this stage in order to emit dangerous fragrances, shoot out serrated petals and generate poison-tipped thorns. You're also able to spawn more pollen from these flowers if your opponent manages to get rid of the ones planted during the release of Ninurta. List below is an index of plants from other exotic planets that are at your disposal throughout every stage.
- Triffids: An odd-looking vine with dusky, variegated leaves that hunker around a stem capable of winding a strange-hold around nearby things, usually trees. It will bite at creatures, leaving deadly tooth-like thorns that burrow into their skin and eventually kill them. Invasive and reproduces explosively when exposed to energy, best hacked away it.
- Supox: Large electrified trees from the planet Hyperion. They appear to store up electricity inside their body during certain seasons, releasing all of it in huge arcs of lightning from their crown, burning all that was growing or walking near them and thus getting fertilizer.
- Athelas: A healing plant with long leaves that will wrap around wounds and alleviate them.
- Mandrakes: Mature mandrakes that are black-and-red that can restore victims that have been petrified or sealed by growing from the earth and wrapping around them.
- Tendriculos: A plant that bears a purple star-shaped fruit which replenishes the consumer's energy and physical health to their fullest; the effects are typically almost instantaneous, making them a great asset both in and out of battle.
- Austras: A plant which can burn itself and release fumes into the air that contains elements of CBD and other psychoactive effects. it will not only put others into a trance, but can enter your body and activate certain synapses to pull you from a hallucination. It is ceremonially burnt as incense but its seeds are used as a narcotic in its indigenous home planet.
- Amrita Vein: Blackened vines which Ninurta could direct with thought alone to ensnare their victims, at which point the tendrils forcibly rob the target of their energy for nourishment. Ninurta discovered a means to recycle this stolen energy to bolster his own attacks. In Ninurta's hands he was fit to ensnare a target, drain them to the point they where little more than a withered husk, and then blend the stolen power with his own to produce frighteningly powerful attacks that could effortlessly annihilate entire landscapes.
- Ghostcress: A plant that creates a dream of a person's perfect life by tapping into the pleasure centers of a person's brain, while keeping the victim totally paralyzed in reality. The Ghostcress, purple tendrils that end in suction cups, feeds on the psychic energy produced by the victim's interaction with his/her "dream." A modified red version of the Ghostcress can instead trap its victims in horrific nightmares, though is considerably easier to escape. When someone discovers the Ghostcress-created reality is fake (they notice something is wrong, or otherwise realize their lives aren't this perfect), the Ghostcress will slowly lose its grip on its host, making it easier to detach from them.
- Cliff Bite: A flower that squirts a particular vapor out of its petals at anyone who comes too close, spraying interlopers with peace-inducing and mind-controlling spores.

Your body is now able to absorb sand synthesize external sources of heat and fire into a suitable energy source that replenishes your reserves. Those who favor the Summer Equinox form are able to obtain not only sustenance from heat, but from forms of power/energy as well.

The coloration of the solar energy is orange, suggesting that its visible component is relatively low-energy light. It's also worth mentioning that after firing off solar energy, it causes heat turbulence in the air surrounding it. Watching enemies turn into ash and crumple to the floor sure is amusing!
Orb Aspect: One of this forms basic powers; solar energy is dispersed into the atmosphere, where it is manipulated to create a reaction similar to that which occurs within the volcano, only on a smaller and more controlled scale. The resulting heat and energy is condensed and compressed into a lava-like form; visually it appears as a miniature sun. The damage this technique is capable of inflicting is tremendous, for upon impact it detonates in a fiery explosion, disintegrating anything in its path. Energy and other molecules within an area are literally torn to shreds due to the amount of heat generated, causing horrific and terrible damage upon those who are caught in its area of effect, leaving no trace of their existence.
Verdant Soar: The second of this forms basic powers, its name is born from its formation, appearing as wings surrounding the wielder, though unlike the name implies they remain tucked around the body. The technique is one of the Summer Equinox's few defensive powers as it can be used as a barrier against incoming attacks. The flames interact with incoming attacks and render forms of energy and physical objects into puff-balls of cinder. The defense is not absolute as the flames lack a solid form, meaning that sufficiently powerful attacks are capable of penetrating through its defenses. This power is also unique in that it can be used offensively as well if the user decides to spread their wings--albeit still not capable of flight. The heat generated by the flames are potent enough to emit waves of irradiated heat that quickly eat through the oxygen within an enclosed space; this can quickly lead to exhaustion, even unconsciousness.
Divine Fury: Generate solar energy into your fists to execute this technique, and upon contact with a physical medium, violently disperse the energy to initiate a chain-reaction that generates massive amounts of fire and heat. You can wail at the ground beneath you to instantly liquefy it into molten magma, erupting on the surface as deafening torrents and geysers, or on an opponent in order to turn them into a cloud of ash.
Zenith Star: The divine might of the sun itself, unleashing its wrath upon those who dare stand against its power: when this sun is lit, all that will remain when its light dies is enveloped in a nuclear zone of annihilation. Disperse a large amount of solar energy into the atmosphere above you, energy colliding against energy, causing it to split and release tremendous amounts of raw heat and power. This fission of energy eventually generates a massive cornea of solar energy as it rapidly expands, forming a small nova. You need only gesture in the general direction to send the hulking mass of condensed heat to its target, upon which it will detonate on impact, releasing a cataclysmic wave of solar energy that waves outward in a bright golden-yellow dome extending in all directions, swallowing and disintegrating all things within it. The attack has an incredibly wide area of effect, enough to obliterate a small town or major portions of an entire city, leaving nothing but a fallout wasteland in its wake.

"Here are the three most frequently asked questions we get about the Blood of Suban.
Q: If the Blood of Suban fires photon waves, does it take energy from you? A: The B.o.S does need energy, but the on-board matter transmuter turns ambient energy into solar energy that powers the waveform emitter. Q: What does it sound like when you're hit by it? A: Our Forerunner testers give us many different answers. Some say it sounds like a scream you hear in your bones. Others say it sounds like a dying star. Still others say it reminds them of a knife shaped like a B flat. Q: Can the Blood of Suban be used as a musical instrument? A: The B.o.S was not designed to be a musical instrument. That said, we at FLEETCOM are in the business of giving Forerunners options, not taking them away." |
You gain access to the Blood of Suban, a weapon that has limited control over photons. It takes the form of an ornate, spotless long-sword with a highly reflective blade and white handle, made entirely out of platinum.
- Piercing Light: Photons of light stimulated at a matching frequency of whatever it needs to shatter, directed along the length of the blade and released with a great thrust. The space around you will ripple, rings of pressure surrounding a white laser beam that both shatters and melts. You can control the frequency/wavelength or any other attribute, making the laser visible to the human eye (or not) or changing its color and course. Because it travels at the speed of light, this attack cannot be dodged after it is unleashed. A target can only dodge beforehand by watching the movement of the blade and taking evasive maneuvers.
- Blade of Light: This attack is actually two in one, but they are indistinguishable from one another. The blade becomes irradiated with white energy and lengthens to three/four times its width and length. This is mostly illusionary as photons are held in torpor around the blade, making it appear larger when it actually isn't. When an enemy attempts to parry the massive blade, he finds there is nothing physical to parry and the Blood of Suban will simply pass through. This creates a perfect opening for its user to thrust. Alternatively, the blade also contains enough photons to sear your opponent at close range, so ignoring it will also end in excruciating pain.
- Illuminate: The blade grows blindingly white, bathing the entire area in a blinding light that makes your opponent's eyes water. Staring at the blade here would be like looking directly at the sun. Mostly used to temporarily confuse and disorient opponents or as a flashlight in darkness. The blade can also flash each time it strikes or is struck, blinding the opponent.
- Distortion: By bending light with your blade, you can make an object (or yourself) invisible. This does not prevent enemies from using other detection methods such as sound, touch or energy sensing.
- Rain of Punishing Light: Fire a beam into the heavens, illuminating the clouds for a brief moment as though the sun were setting. From horizon to horizon, the clouds momentarily become a beautiful shade of gold, sunlight peeking through the cracks in those clouds. This not only has a soothing affect on temperamental weather, which is its first ability (to pacify), but its main intent is to sculpt photon blades in the sky. They will rain down, bristling and white, a downpour that can gun down your opponent until they have nowhere left to run. Can destroy stalwart or stubborn defenses in an onslaught.
|
- Lights Final Judgement: An immesely powerful technique, but one that requires setup time. It can be further boosted by the stored energy in the blade. Once activated, points of light slowly begin to twinkle and appear in a sphere around a localized area. The sphere can be as large as you want, although the bigger the sphere, the longer it takes to setup, but you can move freely and attack during that period as it self-constructs itself. After awhile,t eh shell of the hollow sphere grows denser and when the points of floating light are separated only by a few inches of space, it is complete. Contact with any of these points is like being hit with a giant burning hammer - the victim is burnt, and hurled to the center, trapped within the sphere. The wearer unleashes a white-hot laser beam from the blade right into the sphere, and the beam begins bouncing around inside the sphere. You can pulse-fire the beam to create millions of weaker reflecting beams or thousands of stronger ones. The sphere shatters, cracks webbing across its surface, then explodes in a strobing disco-effect, releasing lasers of light that rip their way through anything they touch like light channeling through a magnifying glass a hundred times over. After all the beams have been spent, the world should have thousands of molten trenches in it within a city-long radius.

Bring your hands near your chest and hum an animist song. and then shoot your presence forward. An immense force will lurch and snake through the land itself like a blind madman; roots, rocks, and soil warp and fold to its will. The world around your opponent will turn on its head, trees twisting and bent, jutting out from the ground at odd angles. Boulders pop high into the air and slam together, crackling and splitting like long, jagged teeth. If your opponent were to sense what is occurring deep down underneath the earth, they would be able to see it: this technique isn't an alien force, it's a reaction of fear. It is the land rearing out of fear like a spooked horse, startled by your power.

Reach outward and grasp upon an invisible power, your fingers trembling with strain. After you pull it towards you, there is a deep tectonic rumbling underground, the air compressing in the ears of all who witness this act while an icy air fills their lungs. After an extended period of time, a gale will hit the battlefield without any mercy, relentlessly tearing crust from the earth and reducing flat planes of earth into shattered blocks. Crags of ice raise from the mantle and reach into the sky like great spires, radiating with their own frost that freezes the clouds in the sky. Glaciers will come crashing down from the sky as rocks orbiting planet Arda are torn from their gravitational rotation... usual landmarks become hidden to your opponent behind a white that covers the continent--snow. To them, your shape will become little more than a crude outline of a human within the blizzard. You are able to manipulate this snow, a wintry fury who can rip through your opponent like fangs of a beast, stinging snow swirling and slashing outward. The entire continent is caste in a growling, tumbling blizzard, physically slowing the opponent so that their usual flawlessness becomes marred by the storm. If they were to reach out and seek for energy, they would only feel the frigid sensation of cold wasstes at their fingertips. They can no longer find energy around them, still there, but weak like the pulse of a sick animal, a yawning darkness, an endless maw of frozen energy. They will grasp at what little energy they have in their system which is slowly being frozen like a cup of water, drawing desperately at power that isn't there for techniques and spells. Your manipulation over the arctic winds and snow is strong enough to blow comets off course, rip worlds from their orbit, and snuff out planetary cores like flickering candles. This is the preamble of the Winter Solstice and it holds no real techniques aside from the desolation wracking the continent and your ability to harness the elements. Once the world is under your control... you're ready to move into stage two, the finale.
After ten total minutes, you may manipulate the ice and sleet in the sky to push away in every direction and fall away behind the meridian of the horizon. Now, everything becomes equally far away, leaving you distant from all things. This is the Winter Solstice spreading out and casting over the world, freezing continents over and bringing men and women (those who remain) into the ice age. The mantle of the earth tears from the ground and is thrown into space, where several large bodies of frozen earth become miniature moons. The very sun itself appears to freeze over (it isn't actually, just a illusion) as your influence tracks down any semblance of heat. The world is caste in deep twilight, only illuminated by the stars in the sky, which one by one, begin to fade. You have now brought your immediate continent into a Snowball era... where there were once waves lapping onto a tropical shore and warm waters teeming with life, there is now only the whistling of the wind and a cold barren landscape.
Suddenly, rippling curtains light up the sky with an incredible suffusing glow, the aurora borealis snaking across the sky above and giving witness to the ice age world that is now a present-day Niflheim. The entire Snowball Earth process has given way to a new world where your own influence has pervaded every last inch of the plane (astrally, physically, mentally), even going so far as to claim that his own will has grappled the will of the world over from the Earth. When you reveal yourself, you wears the attire of a shaman; your Aegis still equipped on certain parts of his body but overall sport a long shamanic cloak. You're also given a staff heavy with the chime of animal bones and red paint stretches down your face from around your eyes.
