biography
Prebirth: (before 19 BBY)
Before his birth, Mithras Lunaros was the subject of several prophecies. Thousands of years before his birth, Mithras appeared in a vision to the first of his line, Adonai Lunaros, along with his father and the gods themselves. At the "beginning of time," the Founder of the First Flame, Enoch sacrificed himself to revive the gods. He did this due to experiencing a vision upon his Apotheosis of a rebellion against Atriox, the Pathfinder's return in Mithras and the eventual quelling of the Reclaimers. Realizing that the future did not depend on him, Enoch died in peace.

I. early life
Mithras Lunaros was born on the asteroid colony of Polis Massa in 19 BBY, shortly after the start of the Thousand Year Darkness. He and his brother Iskandar, who was born shortly after him, were the children of Galactic Forerunner Senator Morraine Amidala and the almighty En-il. The twins' mother died not long after giving birth to them. The Forerunner Generals knew that the children, both having a natural connection to Enoch through their Lunarosi bloodline, needed protection from the Separatist Syndicate and their father. Deciding it would be best if they were separated, the Forerunner Galacic Council agreed to send the white-haired infant boy to live with his mother's sister, Beru, on Eea. Iskadar was sent to live under the protection of his newly adopted parents, Haji and Kasiya Ptah of Amonkhet. A General—namely Vauban (friend of Valkorion), took Mithras to Nibiru personally, intending to watch over Mithras as he grew. Vauban chose to go into hiding on Nibiru and live close to the boy. Mithras' first use of the First Flame was when he was roughly six and, through his crux, located a lost screwdriver that was under the couch. He was severely scolded by his aunt, with the argument that he could only have known its location because he placed it there, and afterward learned not to duplicate the stunt.
|
When Mithras was ten years old, he ran away when Beru refused to tell him information concerning his father. Unfortunately, the boy became lost in a sandstorm. In the desert, he had a vision of a tall, dark figure, and short afterward met a young boy named Dayne. The two boys realized that they had much in common, neither knew much about their father, they both wanted to leave Nibiru some day, and that they could sense things before they happened. In the sandstorm, they were eventually attacked by a Yao Guai, causing them to lose sight of one another. Exhausted, Mithras fell unconscious but fortunately, Beru and a rescue party found him. Once they did, there was no sign of the Yao Guai or Dayne. Mithras, however, was certain it was more than just a dream, and Beru knew there was something special about her nephew.
Eventually, Mithras became an adventure-seeking youth who demonstrated his father's natural fighting skills, as well as a strong desire to leave Nibiru. As more of Mithras' friends left the planet to follow their dreams, he became increasingly frustrated that his aunt would not allow him to do the same, claiming that he still needed help with the farm. In truth, Beru was trying to prevent Mithras from being found by his father.
Around this point in his life he became orphaned to the streets and decrepit ruins of the city outskirts, spending his adolescence on the run. Pock picketing and stealing breads of loaf from in the wealthy neighborhoods of Polis Massa became apart of his daily routine, eventually becoming nimble enough to do more than just petty thievery. Dodging patrols, slipping out of binding spells and avoiding Separatist kingpins looking to ensnare him in their godless syndicate are a few of the myriad things that Mithras had to evade. Though he longed to fight alongside the Forerunners, he was so small that none of the Generals would actually claim him as their own despite how shrewd he was. When the young Mithras looked for friends outside his aunt, he found companionship with none other than quiet and remote Lucatiel—who very quickly became one of Mithras' best friends.

II. TEENAGE YEARS & FORERUNNER PREPARATION
Mithras trained with Lucatiel as they dreamed of joining the Forerunner Order when they grew up, but somewhere around this time, En-il began to hear frightening prophecies from the Moirae foretelling his demise at the hands of one of his sons, a "marked warrior." Hoping to circumvent the cycle of patricide before it was too late and breaking his own rule of non-interaction between god and Annunaki, En-il sent Mars and Agdayne—hunter of demi-gods—to the material realm to hunt down and dispose of the boy who would one day rise up against him. The day the soldiers surrounded the village, Mithras was exploring in the woods. He didn’t notice them approaching the homes, didn’t even hear the skyship descending. It was only when he heard the shouting that he ran back to the village and saw them. After making through the burning village, he witnessed his best friend--Lucatiel--being slaughtered by Agdayne. An enraged Mithras attacked the men to save his brother, and right as Agdayne was to deliver the killing blow, Mithras' Apotheosis spark ignited, simultaneously scarring Agdayne in the process. He was pulled through realities to escape his eventual fate at the hands of his executioner and brought to Regatha, the order of operations of the Forerunner Order. Agdayne's colossal failure to dispatch the demigod resulted in En-il stripping him of his power, furthering his hate for Mithras and his family.

The loss of Lucatiel left an indelible mark on Mithras, as he vowed to never falter again. In honor of his only friend, Mithras had himself tattooed in the exact image of Lucatiel's birthmark. To the tattoos he swore an oath that he would repay Agdayne and Mars one day, the contract etched onto his very skin, constantly reminding him of his debt. At times, especially when he casts powerful techniques, the etchings show up on his skin like phosphorescent tattoos, every arcane swirl and jagged rune a keepsake of the moment he failed to save his brother. Around this time, Mithras' home planet Nibiru was being preceded over by Atriox's daughters, and the entire world was staked as Separatist territory. It became the base of operations for the Separatists and it was a key factor in determining who was winning the multi-planar war at that time, as Nibiru was the genesis planet of all Annunaki-kind.
II. ABDUCTION & CONSCRIPTION
"As per Naval Code 45812, you are hereby conscripted into the ONI Special Project codenamed PROMETHEAN-II. You have been called upon to serve. You will be trained... and you will become the best we can make of you. You will be the protectors of Arda and all her colonies. This will be hard to understand, but you cannot return to your parents. This place will become your home. Your fellow trainees will be your family now. The training will be difficult. There will be a great deal of hardship on the road ahead, but I know you will all make it. Rest now. We begin tomorrow."
— Guilty Spark welcomes the abducted children to their new reality
The Prometheans were created in an experiment when a ship which Mithras had been boarded became involved in a void-jump accident that sent it lost in the chaotic sub-dimensional space known as the Blind Eternities. When the ship reemerged from the Eternities and was recovered, the only survivors found were the children, whose exposure to the Eternities' energies had twisted and changed them, giving them inexplicable powers and abilities. Feared and reviled, the survivors of the project nonetheless were of great interest to the Order.
Initial experiments on how to harness the children's powers though led to several fatal accidents, which showed the danger their uncontrolled powers could wreak both on themselves and on others. It was the work of an Order researcher named Margulis that led to a breakthrough; through dreams, the children could focus and control their powers. However, this research would then be taken from her after she was executed for trying to protect the children, and used to create a process known as Transference; the children's consciousnesses and powers could be remotely channeled through a surrogate body called an Aegis: a specially-made techno-organic humanoid battle frame designed to enhance and focus the children's powers.
These operators, newly christened as the "Prometheans", were taught the ways of war. With the combination of advanced technologies and esoteric powers, the Order began to turn the tide against the Separatists, allowing them to vanquish the Annunaki's enemies across many battles.

failure at the epoch movement
Following the Order's defeat, Mithras continued to seek out Isu lore, hoping to find information that the Separatists had erased, Gatalenta being one of the first destinations in his search. With the deaths of Thel 'Vadam and Darrien Lunaros, the time for a New Order began, as did the time for a new Pathfinder order. He based his new Forerunner Order at a secret Order Temple of which only those in his order knew the location. He dubbed this mission the "Epoch Movement," gathering a number of Annunaki that had already became reputable in their own rights--such as the conniving Syazel, who obtained communion with Menoetius at the ripe young age of seventeen. It was Mithras' goal at this point to build a generation of Pathfinders who could, with a dash of luck, rise up against the Separatist Syndicate and deliver a thousand years of galactic justice unto them.
During this time, Agdayne sought to put his past behind him, become immune to the temptations of the Light, and claim his birthright by ruling the weaker beings of the galaxy. Agdayne hoped to destroy the last Forerunners and stamp put the last remnants of the Light. Both Agdayne and Atriox understood that if Mithras were to ever return from his exile, he would be a grave threat to the future of the Separatist Syndicate. His quest to destroy Mithras had led him into a tangle of intrigue woven by mysterious forces, forcing him to broaden his skills as a Lunaros and to unlock new potential within himself. He killed all of the disciples upon finding the Order Temple while Mithras was absent. This act tore Agdayne apart emotionally. He began to hate himself from that point on and almost immediately began to feel remorse for killing the younglings, but on the same token he felt that the atrocities he'd already committed had set him on the path he was taking.
After returning to the Temple, Mithras was left deeply affected and mentally broken by what he believed to be his ultimate failure, so he lost faith in the Light and the vision of the Mantle of Responsibility, and fled into self-imposed exile, vanishing from the galaxy at-large without a trace. Ashamed, Mithras retired to the remote world of Arda, once the site of an ancient holy site. He had failed, and he felt that he had nothing more to offer the galaxy. No one thought the wide-eyed ingenue who only wanted to become a Forerunner became so downtrodden that he would deny his heritage and the rest of the galaxy by going into hiding. Absent though he may have been from galactic affairs, Mithras' story was nonetheless a thing of myth and legend in certain corners of the galaxy. His exploits in the Hundred-Year-War were known to the Order, which have become little than a band of freedom fighters led by now-Auriel Lunaros to combat the rise of the Syndicate.
In order to hide his signature from the Separatists, he warped his Light in order to mimic a twelve year old Lucatiel, the last impression he had of the boy before Agdayne slaughtered him in cold blood. The result of this impersonation resulted in the creation of a new persona; Jeremy.

iii. jeremy saga
“Well, I’m not only a direct descendent of the Anunnaki, but I’m one of the original hybrids. My royal blood is almost pure as I was begotten from the strongest and most ancient of our kind.”
He can't remember his name, his past, his family--or if he even has a family. He decided to call himself Jeremy, and he nothing more than to sheathe his broom for the last time and find a place to call home. Violence and destruction have a tendency to follow him, and he is constantly driven to take up arms (or broom) and wield his hidden magic in the service of those that need his protection. Jeremy was hired as a professional janitor across the scope of several continents in Arda, hoping to find the one thing that has eluded him--peace. Under the watchful protection of his powerful piers, he hoped that Arda would not be in need of him. But as he continues to meet more strangers, he is beginning to become identified as an outsider with powers and skills that further distance him from the natives of Arda.
Meanwhile, there is a flux occurring inside of Jeremy by his progenitor. After the death of his disciples, Mithras became reverent. Mithras had decided he has been everywhere and done everything, and woe betide anyone who asks him to go and do more. Though a compassionate person with a strong sense of right and wrong, he had been burned by fate so many times that it was difficult for him to muster up the emotional energy to deal with the world. More than a bit cynical, he doubts many things that the Forerunners held dear, and would probably rather just be left alone within Jeremy.

PERSONALITY & traits
"For Mithras, there is nothing more important than friendship. He is the most loyal man I've ever met—loyal beyond reason; in fact […] abstractions like peace don't mean much to him. He's loyal to people, not to principles. And he expects loyalty in return. He will stop at nothing to save me, for example, because he thinks I would do the same for him… because he knows I would do the same for him."
―Lucatiel
Mithras was an Annunaki male who stood at 6"1 and weighed 170+ pounds. He had white hair, cream colored eyes, and tan skin that adapted to the extreme ultraviolet radiation emanated by the sun that shone down on the desert world of Eea. The harsh realities of such a world could have easily made a person cynical or guarded against sympathy and weaknesses, but not Mithras. Despite eking out a meager existence in the scorching heat of the Western Reaches planet with his mom, Mithras possessed a heart full of generosity and a willingness to help other people in need, and he also had a special place in his heart for his mom, for whom he constantly built inventions to sell or to use to lighten her workload. As a young boy, Mithras was cavalier; often curious, impatient, looking ahead to the future with little regard for his present surroundings, and even a bit brash. For years, Mithras' imagination took his mind to other worlds, including those with lush green forests and beauty that he could never even dream of. Though lovable, he also carried grudges and was vengeful, but he commonly held these two traits in check. He hated being treated unjustly or being wrongly accused. He was fiercely loyal, doing anything to keep those he was close to from harm, at any cost. His only price for this dedication was loyalty in return.
However, as his skills in the Light progressed and grew older, especially after losing his mother to Agdayne, Mithras became more cocky, reckless, impatient and willful. However, he still retained his idealistic viewpoint, willing to think the best of anyone, and believing that Agdayne was redeemable. He was also unable to ignore those who needed help, sometimes to the point of endangering missions for the sake of saving someone else's life.
His heroic feats during the Galactic Chronicles eventually made him the symbol of the Forerunner Order, held by many as the warrior-savior of the Forerunner Order, earning the nickname of the "Hero With No Fear," as he was praised by Supreme Chancellor 'Vadam, applauded by the Galactic Senate and glorified on the AnuNet News. Due to his sudden escalation from recruit to being known as the "Hero With No Fear," and the rising star of the Forerunner Order, pride and arrogance set in. He became cocky, self-appreciating, and he grew to hate being reprimanded or lectured. With a penchant to show off, Mithras was a something of a maverick, known among the Knights for being passionate and impulsive.
Although Mithras had difficulty understanding the 'undisciplined' lifestyle of civilians, he was fiercely protective of their lives and humanity as a whole. The mass slaughter of civilians at the hands of the Banished was enough to drive even the stoic Mithras into a cold rage. Mithras is known to show an exceptional care for those under his command, while at times viewing them as a liability rather than an asset (more out of fear and concern for them than for himself). By 2552, most members of the Order held Mithras in complete awe, even among his Lunaros comrades. His exploits and prowess quickly made him a legend in his own time, and his mere presence on a battlefield was enough to inspire the hope of victory regardless of the odds. As a general, Mithras won battles through brutal, but effective tactics. However, his pride and hunger for power grew greater with every victory. Despite others' pleas, Mithras vowed to continue his bloody conquests "until Agdayne's blood decorated the starways."

OUTFIT / REGALIA
Mithras' standard regalia is a perfect marriage of martial function and ceremonial tradition, bolstering a high level of defense while also allowing him to sport the Forerunner color and presence. All of his armor pieces were made from sheets of metal threaded with veins of super-hot liquid metal, resulting in a heat-conductive material that is still highly durable. On his shoulders he wears Forerunner "sode," which has strong inspirations from edo-period shoulder-pads. Shinobi wore long, rectangular shoulder protection that eventually resulted in the abandoning of their shields because they practically carried shields on their shoulders. Equivalently, Mithras also dons Niburian sode that protected his entire forearm, shoulder and neck, which also serves to clip in place his Forerunner mantle, or "cape." His cape was sewn

from countless layers of cloth-of-gold, so heavy that it barely stirs even when he charges, so large that it covered most of his Naga's hindquarters when he took the saddle. No ordinary clasp would suffice for such a weight, which is why the sode account for this. Underneath the sode and cape is his white body-glove vest, enameled in a dark crimson burnished to such a high sheen that it shone like fire in the light of the rising sun. His greaves and gauntlets are inlaid with ornate gold scrollwork while his vest features a "wesekh," a sunburst golden collar reaching to the middle of his neck. His lower body is equipped with a fauld, a piece of plate armor worn below his vest to protect the waist and hips, also recognized as an "armored skirt." Underneath the fauld is an actual ceremonial, matte-black kilt that reaches above the ankles. Mithras was traditionally always barefoot and festooned many lavish golden rings on his fingers, wrists and toes as auxiliary decorations.
powers & abilities
By his standing as a former Promethean of the Forerunnner Order, and one of the five living Lunaros, Mithras' power and abilities are said to be unrivaled by anyone who came before him or anyone since. He has mastered the many secrets of the Living Light, which allow him a wide array of arcane Light abilities which few others have mastered. During the Galactic Chronicles, flee-on-sight orders were given should the enemy ever see him appear on the battlefield.
-Transcendent Light: As one of, if not the strongest Lunaros alive, Mithras possesses absolutely monstrous levels of Light. Mithras' Light has an overbearing power which is unlike any modern Annunaki. In terms of coloration, his Light is pure white, occasionally producing lavender bio-electrical sparks of discharge, making a deep crackling noise when Mithras focuses his energy. His body glows bright white when this is preformed, as his Light interacts with the energy in his surroundings, changing their properties in a very minimal way. His very presence can cause even the most skilled warriors to lose their breath. During his battles in the war, Mithras' moniker, Naga Kavalaris , was evident the moment the former entered battle atop his flying mount. The sheer force of his Light raining down on the battlefield, the enemies staring on in a mix of fear and despair, as Mithras’ very Light would be the first wave of attack, followed by the onslaught. Allies alike would watch on in absolute shock, being enveloped in an "ocean of Light," that would surround them. Mithras' Light has the additional effect of affecting entire areas to the point of disrupting energy attacks from enemies by suffocating the space where they would usually emit their energy. While his Light can still be felt, it has been stated that it would be pointless to attempt gauging the level of Mithras' power, as it possesses the same attributes as nature itself; so vast that it can be simply regarded as immeasurable, that any individual that tries to sense the depths of his power will only find themselves lost in its vastness.
-Udo Jin-e: Glorified relic of an era past, originally belonged to a member of the Fourth Order notoriously known as Paul. Considered an ancient Isu relic by Mithras despite its origins being unknown, this weapon has long since been discarded and its coordinates tracked down to an Arda-bound ocean. A weapon with a toolkit complimenting his arsenal, Mithras knows that the vast potential of Udo Jin-e makes it one of the most dangerous things in his arsenal, but he's able to regulate its power to use it at any point of a fight without overwhelming the opponent. Mysterious and mischievous, Udo Jin-e manipulates the code of reality to dazzle its foes. With deceitful images, hacks in space-time and lethal glitches up his sleeve, Udo is a suitable weapon choice for methodical tacticians.
Harpe: The last piece of Adonai outside his own skin and tendons, Mithras inherited this weapon as apart of his ancestry to the Lunaros. In its dormant form, it's a disposable wooden broom that reads Harpe on the side when not in use. Once the broom is activated, it transforms into its true sword form, made alive with moonlight, translucent, a shard of crystal so thin that it seems almost to vanish when seen edge-on. There is a faint blue shimmer to the thing, a ghost-light that plays around its edges, though it is sharper than any razor. When it meets blades, there is no ring of metal on metal; only a high, thin sound at the edge of hearing, like an animal screaming in pain. As the swords meet again and again, your opponent will want to cover their ears against the strange anguished keening of their clash. The pale blade is able to slice through ringmail as if it were silk.
Tattoos: The litany of the infernal on his flesh pulses to the beating of his dark heart.
-Wadjet "Through Space and Time" Configuration:
-Achilles' Heel (Greek): Create a weakness on your opponent or the defenses of your opponent through eyesight alone. Determine their Achilles' heel, then strike to take down any opposition.
-Ragnarök (Norse): Summon forth phantasms of Nidhoggr, Skoll and Hati, Surtr and Ymir to do your bidding.
-Flaming Sword of Uriel (Christian): Summon a massive, skyscraper-sized fiery sword above the clouds that comes down like the axe of a guillotine. It is fit to split an entire continent in half and vanquish unholy targets within its radius of heat.
-Yamata no Orochi (Shinto): A floor of carven black basalt and white shimmering marble appears beneath us. It stretches out into the endless horizon.
-Osiris' Tribulations (Egyptian):
-Sword from the Stone (Arthurian Legend):

As the swords meet again and again, your opponent will want to cover their ears against the strange anguished keening of their clash. The pale blade is able to slice through ringmail as if it were silk.

Magus (Solar) — Tatara Gaze
-Projectile (Genesis Chain): A plasma grenade storing inside a smart-matter casing programmed to irrevocably stick to targets. When activated, the "grenade" begins to vent its coolant, which destabilizes the plasma at its heart. The resulting explosion is devastatingly effective. Practically speaking, when the grenade collapses, it does so violently, disintegrating nearly all organic material types within its ionization radius. -Movement Ability (Go with the Flow): Move with the tachyons. Tachyons are a particle group which travels faster than the speed of light (in contrast to particles of our universe which seem to be limited by physical laws that go at a normal speed). Mithras uses his control of tachyons to create rainbow hyperspace bridges and fly on them, he is able to travel at speeds superior to light. -Modifier/Passive (Glasshouse): Mithras constantly absorbs ambient cosmic energy into the cells of his body and processes it into plasma. This results in control over an extremely powerful sort of destructive force. At times he is not entirely able to control this ability, which sometimes makes him a danger to those around him if he loses control of this power. When each of his Core's power-storage cell enclaves reaches its capacity, excess cosmic energy is thereafter absorbed and immediately re-emitted in negligible quantities. The act of concentration involved in releasing his energy in anything other than an omni-directional wave is physically exhausting for Mithras if he continues it over an extended period of time. He can absorb cosmic energies from his environment (such as starlight, x-rays, and gamma radiation) and store them within his Crux, metabolizing the energy in order to generate plasma wave discharges that super-heat and disintegrate objects or create concussion bursts by violently displacing air molecules in his path. His ability to absorb energy is so great that he was able to survive being dropped into a large star, and use its energy to augment his powers to a ridiculous point. -Melee Ability (Prophet's Bane): Mithras utilizes an energy sword, a marriage of the curve-blade and the twin-scythe, the logical evolution of this cultural icon. The deadly efficiency of this weapon has earned the energy sword a reputation on the battlefield as well. The glow and distinctive hum of an ignited blade add to the weapon's ability to cause an unsettling sense of intimidation and fear. The blade's simple yet elegant technology is compromised of Mithras utilizing super-heated plasma, contoured into elegant angles. This forms and contains two oval shaped, ionized blades for which the weapon is recognized. A single slash can penetrate through the energy shield systems and into the armor and flesh of an Aegis. This is due to the design of the weapon's blade, which utilizes partially ionized, free moving electron based gas rather than traditional shaped, solid matter. The weapon's edge is therefore extremely volatile, being able to slice through even the toughest metals with ridiculous ease. Stab wounds by the weapon are in most cases fatal — as the blade passes through the body, the innards of the body are burned and cauterized by the temperatures produced by the blades. The sheer destructive power of the sword makes it a weapon to be feared on any battlefield, and it is notable for its adverse psychological effects on human soldiers. Weapons made from the Permutation are never named by their wielder, they must acquire an identity from fearful whispers and roaring shouts. But it was not long before Mithras' blade was known across Annunaki space as an instrument of change and self-determination. And so it is Mithras who bears the titles of Kaidon, Supreme Commander, and wielder of Prophet's Bane. -Super Ability (Banshee's Gaze): Banshee of legend warned of death, and today all Pathfinder and Reclaimer veterans know the cry of this ability. In Celtic mythology, a Banshee is a woman spirit who wails for the death of a particular person before they die. The Banshees have to steal souls from people to live. The high-pitched sound made by the Banshee's Breath is a reference to this. This super is fit to project a powerful beam of concussive, golden-colored force from Mithras' eyes by releasing the energy he absorbs in his passive. He releases it from his optics (eyes) with a loud shriek, creating a concussive beam that bends, weaves, and arcs in alternate directions, giving his blasts the appearance of multiple curving blasts spiraling around the core blast, making it even harder to dodge. It is mainly used in tactical round engagements, used to bring down structures and defenses or those who barricade themselves into domes. The plasma this beam shoots out is compressed, encapsulated in a blob of super-heated plasma and fired at a high velocity. When the laser hits, the magnetic bubble collapses and the plasma rapidly expands from its compressed state, creating a super-heated explosion that vaporizes everything within twenty meters of impact. Titanium battle-plate, concrete or flesh is instantly obliterated by the golden fire. As the resulting temperatures cool, the impact zone is nothing but a glass-smooth surface. Heat management forces significant downtime between shots, and the limited discharge speed means that it takes three to four seconds to bring the pulsing-power to maximum charge and release. When angry, or to make a threat, Mithras may cause his eyes to glow a threatening, simmering gold without any beams actually emerging from his eyes. |

Providence Variant Aegis: The bones of the Isu made armor. Tendons wrap around your body from head to toe, muscle and tissue overlapping the tendons, followed behind crackling bones that situate themselves over your body until the "skin" (armor) finishes its polish. The armor near your joints end in sharp protrusions and your head is fitted with a winged face piece. You are now wearing the actual composition of the Isu over your body, allowing you to quite literally "wear" a god. It is a fortress for your body, a mighty bastion, a moving and unstoppable force of righteousness.
Artifact(s)
-Blood of Suban:
- -Body Storage: This Aegis can momentarily turn into a glossy, near-liquid state to hold and store multiple munitions, armaments and other items through apertures. He can then extrude these objects while maintain its otherwise sleek, aerodynamic profile.
- Attribute Absorption: The Aegis can then adapt some of the stored objects' unique properties, such as absorbing a bullet and then becoming steel alloy or whatever metal the bullet is made of.
Artifact(s)
- Eva Leonov, Hide of the Nemean Lion: Mithras' Aegis wears a raiment of worm silk, made from the caul of gods, called the Hide of the Nemean Lion as per the mythos of Hercules the Great. It allows him to stand defiantly against any physical attack, appearing as creases of light flickering to life over the Aegis, a thin layer of golden light enveloping your form with the vestige of a god's strength. In the brief moment, but a blink of a time that you have this ability activated, you are impervious to physical damage of varying levels. Only attacks that are not physical have a chance of harming you while you are in this state. The ability activates so fast that it is nearly impossible to realize what has stopped your attack by the time it finishes, lasting long enough only to absorb the full impact and then disappear (often shattering as a result, unbeknownst to the opponent). This can happen as a reflex in times of dire need.
- Tarragon Helm: A very young Adonai once wore his Aegis as a hallmark and badge of honor from the Great Hunt, incorporated with parts and parcels of the Naga for which he hunted to extinction. The Naga were said to be wish-fulfilling "dragons", and were sought after by many Annunaki for the paracausal gifts they granted. After much debate it was decided that the bargains made with these creatures came at too high a price, beginning a Great Hunt in which the Naga were made all but extinct. Currently, the only known survivor is Akatosh, formerly raised under Jaeherys. Naga bones were subsequently incorporated into Adonai's charms and new varieties of armor. These were known to cause auditory hallucinations in their bearer, Adonai, as if the bones were speaking to him. The Naga draw upon their wish-granting magics to transform desire into reality to suit one's purposes, using a characteristic phrase when addressing other beings, taking the form of "O/Oh (subject) mine". This phrase is apparently a curse, invoking paracausal powers of ownership over the addressee. The fossilized remains of the Naga are of continued interest to Mithras, who adorns his helmet (the Tarragon Helm) with them and thereby acquire unique powers. Mithras can now dominate the objective universe with his subjective will.
- Fang of Ir Yut:
- Sol Rings: The main purpose and power of the Sol Ring is to anchor the wearer to the mortal realm for the sake of achieving immortality. As long as at least one Sol Ring exists, the creator's soul will be bound to the world of the living. Hence, if the body is destroyed, the soul will remain as a lingering spirit instead of passing through to the other side. Though being in such a state of existence is what very few would prefer over death, the soul can possess others to regain physical form, which shortens the host's lifespan drastically. It is also possible (through a second party) to use certain spells to create a rudimentary body or even the true body of the Sol Ring's creator's soul to possess. Because of this purpose, a Sol Ring is usually kept hidden and dormant, and its other powers are rarely explored or utilized.
