MENOETIUS - mADNESS iNCARNATE

"We knew curiosity would draw you back, Menoetius. In their desperation, the Isu have began using paracausal weapons.
What are these? How do they work? Wouldn't you like to know. Suffice to say that some powers in this universe are superior to mere material physics.
The source of these weapons is Anu, the false Creator. Their effect is subtle, but devastating.
But you are armed to respond in kind. Savathûn’s mothers have listened carefully to our teachings. We will not give you the Deep, Menoetius — that power is for me, your god. But I will teach you to call upon that force with signs and rituals.
Small minds might call it magic.
You are no longer bound by causal closure. Your will defeats law. Kill a hundred of your children with a long blade, Menoetius, and observe the change in the blade. Observe how the universe shrinks from you in terror.
Your existence begins to define itself. Of course, Menoetius, we know it was not curiosity alone that brought you back to the war. You felt your own death growing inside you. You must obey your nature. Your worm must feed..."
--Kronos, to Menoetius.

--Kronos, to Menoetius.
Menoetius is the horned god of wrath and pain. He is associated with the concepts of slaughter, violence, bloodlust, war, and cannibalism. He is worshipped by minotaur revelers all around the galaxy and is known to take the form of a minotaur, as well. He was the disciple and student of Kronos during the Creation Saga
You are true. Your purpose is what makes you true. Stopping your purpose makes you false. If you are false, you are not real. Remember this.
Menoetius, during his time outside of the Blind Eternities believed in a certain philosophy. It goes like this: In order to prove your right to exist and fitness to survive in this universe, you must destroy every other type of life (i.e. since you are Annunaki, you would kill everything that's not Annunaki). Doing this proves that your type of life is the superior one (the most fit to survive), and the battles to overcome the other types of life make you stronger. You keep doing this until either you come across something that kills you (proving that you are an inferior form of life and unworthy to exist), or you manage to kill everything else in existence and prove yourself the ultimate form of life. All his minotaur devotees believed in this philosophy and adhered to it loyally.
With the avatar of Menoetius, it gets taken a step further. The Titans are all connected to the Blind Eternities now, and the Blind Eternities energy is a paracausal power (the causality that something can bend time & space to its/your will by altering predetermined outcomes) - it can work outside the laws of reality. So for the avatar, this philosophy becomes real. The more they conquer and kill and the more lives they devour, the more Menoetius rewards them with power from the Blind Eternities. Some of the power they keep for themselves, and some they pass up to Menoetius. The ultimate goal of the Emanations is to destroy all other life, and thereby accumulate so much power that they can remake the entire universe in their image, and/or survive past the end of the universe - to become the pinnacle of existence; the "Final Shape".

Sabel Ke'ala (Ascendant Sword): This ceremonial dagger holds the strength of the Blind Eternities, which makes it appear as though it's cast in eternal flames of black and deep, bloody red. A dagger by itself is a powerful weapon, but it kills acylically. It sends out harm and it takes nothing back - but Sabel Ke'ala is like a bridge, a crossing-point. The dagger binds wielder to victim, it binds life to death, and when the binding is done - the dagger remembers. It becomes hungrier, it becomes sharper. Performing a kill with this ritual blade, especially those close to you, draws power from the Blind Eternities. In addition, the blade itself begins to change. Because of this, the blade is what's used in order to progress and transverse deeper into the stages of Menoetius, requiring you to kill with it in order to ascend.
THREE KILLS - ravenous
![Picture](/uploads/3/0/3/4/30349319/editor/sung-rae-kim-f-01-4.jpg?1555505151)
In this stage and the stages to come, your body permanently undergoes metamorphosis in order to control the power of the Blind Eternities. From your forehead, above your brow, you grow horns. Your teeth become sharper, like daggers, and your nails are sharpened to a point. When you cast techniques or abilities, such as normal elements, they're blood-stained with the essence of those you have vanquished in the name of Menoetius. Now you've unlocked minor manipulation over the powers of the Blind Eternity, able to harness them yourself and project it out into the real world, but you're still unable to fully control it. This can manifest as dark-red and black orbs that you shoot out from between your horns or palms, creating massive explosions that leave a radioactive residue behind which mutates both lifeforms, sentient and insentient. You can coat your nails or your weapons with this essence for more precise attacks and you can inject them into other techniques - for example, doing so with fire will give the heat Blind Eternity properties, such as the heat created from the fire instead of "burning," you will "deform." Water, instead of drowning, will also cause things to deform and re-manifest into mutated, awful versions of itself that can be controlled by the user. Apart from this, you're given a new repertoire of techniques.
Ravenous Sabel Ke'ala: The second stage of the ceremonial blade. It elongates into a curved saber with rings embedded into the steel on the dull side of the blade. Whatever this blade plunges into begins to glow internally with red cracks, then explodes within moments to create a pyroclastic surge. This can completely burn away all flesh, leaving only bone tissue or allow you to slice through massive objects being thrown at you.
-K’enidi Negešitu K'ut'a (የንጉሠ ነገሥቱ ቁጣ, Horn Rush of the Emperor God): Tilt your head downward so that your horns are facing your opponent, manifesting a cloak of volatile energy from the Blind Eternities around your body. As you rear your foot back and drag it against the ground akin to a bull, the energy inflates out around you into the shape of a bull's head, noxious smoke curling from the nostrils. Charge forward, the sound of galloping heard throughout the field as you disappear and reappear against your opponent in the blink of an eye. When you strike, you do so at an angle, ensuring that the bull horn strikes first. The amount of force generated behind the attack is enough to break through just about any bulwark or defense, and as a last precaution, your body is ejected out the back of the bull aura surrounding you. This allows it to continue forward and rampage whatever is in its path, then explode into a violent shower of radiation. Once you reach the Architect level, you are able to send these out while standing still, multiple at a time - raining down a salvo unto your opponents.
-Pirojekiti Fik’adu (ፕሮጀክት ፍቃዱ Project the Will, Fury Cell): One of Menoetius' basic powers; you can disperse your "rage" or "anger" into the atmosphere, where it's manipulated to create a reaction similar to what occurs in the Blind Eternities, only on a smaller and more controlled scale. The resulting effect is a hailstorm of fire, rock and blood thrown from the skies fast enough to pierce and shred through defenses. It appears like dark clouds in the sky where instead of thunder, the awful choir of screeching souls can be heard and the atmosphere itself is tinted with a bloody hue.
-Simētawī Joriji (ስሜታዊ ጆርጅ Emotion Scion): Your body can now absorb and synthesize external sources of anger, including forms of heat and trauma into a suitable energy source that replenishes your reserves. You can obtain sustenance from these sources, allowing you to consume it and draw strength from it. Because of this, the avatar of Menoetius should prefer to relax in areas of extreme temperatures (such as active volcanoes) and in situations of war. This ability also makes him/her virtually immune to sources of heat used against him, since he can consume the "rage," from the flames readily and absorb its energy.
-Si‘oli Iji (ሲዖል እጅ Hellfire Transferral): This power changes the medium of Menoetius' rage through contact to virtually any other solid substance, most notably---earth. To execute this technique, the avatar gathers his energy into a limb, and upon contact with a physical medium he/she violently disperses the energy which then initiates chain-reactions to generate massive amounts of fire and heat. When used with the earth, this causes the ground beneath you to instantly liquefy into molten magma, which can erupt on the surface as deafening, fiery explosions or geysers of molten material. As the rage has a physical component, in addition to its disintegrating touch, it's capable of inflicting massive amounts of crushing damage as they slam into the structures or other creatures.

SIX KILLS - architect

Now after your sixth kill with the ceremonial blade, your horns curl inward like that of a rams and your skin gains a dark complexion. A tail with a furred ending slashes out behind you, prehensile in nature. Your hair gains a blood-red tint, elongated and unkempt. Even taller now, you stand much more like a demon than an Annunaki, the very sight of you sending fear into the hearts of your enemies. In this stage you are beginning to harness the power of the Blind Eternities for your own use and you embody a dark arts practitioner, no longer being controlled by the Blind Eternities as you can now force others to be controlled by it. In this stage you're able to open an aperture in space-time - like a jaw, and swallow living things. This makes it pass into the Blind Eternities, then returns resembling their former selves but are both shadowed and eerily glowing. They shiver and twitch in a disturbing manner, and their vocalizations are warped into shrieks and howls. They constantly exude a substance called Blight, which resembles a shadowy liquid or gas charged with energy. You are also now able to bring back those which you've killed with the ceremonial blade to serve you in the afterlife.
Architect Sabel Ke'ala: The blade, previously a saber, straightens out into a massive buster blade with the guard (above the hilt) appearing as a massive, copper ring and an eye embedded at the center. This eye belongs to Menoetius - his only way of seeing into the Material World from his imprisonment in the Blind Eternities. He can speak to the wielder of the blade and even reach out with his will into the Material World. This blade is the "crown" of the avatar, and will be immediately recognized by any disciple or religious practitioner in Menoetius' cult as a symbol of power. Sabel Ke'ala previously had the ability to volcanize anything that it stabbed into, but now gains the ability to flash vaporize anything which is near it. The convection, or heat given off of the blade, is tangible rage, which imposes thermal expansion whenever it swings. Anything caught in the radius of the blades swing will either flash-vaporize (if it is organic), or turn into molten slag (if it is a material). Simply clashing blades with this weapon is a mistake for anyone who isn't well-suited to endure the rage of a Titan, which affects the world in dreadful ways.
-T'ila Mitali (ምታት Shadow Strike): When the intricate, rippling engravings that spans the ceremonial blade is imbued with blood, the sword begins to sing in scarlet hues. It temporarily gains uncanny sharpness, but the rite eats away at the wielder's very essence. For one driven by bloodlust, nothing deserves to remain standing.,..Turn the blade around and drive it into your chest, cutting into your Core and tainting it with the energy of the Blind Eternities. After pulling the blade back out, it's wreathed in the essence of your Core (blood). Now, whatever cut or injury you inflict on an enemy will triple in effect the instant of impact. Meaning, even if you only make one cut, the opponent will have been cut three times in total. (The two supplementary cuts or wounds being parallel and congruent to the original.)
-Vorewali Ziliti (ቮረዋል ዝልት Vorpal Blade): Create distance between yourself and the opponent, then begin slashing at the air viciously with Sabel Ke'ala. With each slice you make with your blade, it will temporarily create apertures, yawning voids that lead into the Blind Eternities. After you create up to ten cuts in the air, shove your other hand forward, projecting them outward. They will all simultaneously scythe through the air and chase down your opponent, raining down a salvo of black-red, hellish energy. Anything that is struck by these vorpal space-tears are rendered into a molten, volcanized version of itself. Those things that are eradicated can be given a level of "sentience," rising into hulking, molten abominations. If you were to destroy a boulder with this ability, the molten waste that was once non-sentient rock will become conscious and re-piece itself into any form that suits the user. It can become a massive golem intent on destroying the opponent, or become a gigantic spear-and-catapult to take down aerial opponents. This effect will constantly frequent again, as anything that is "destroyed" by these constructs will also gain sentience. Only when Sabel Ke'ala is sheathed will these molten constructs finally cool over to obsidian and lose their consciousness.
Sī’oli Gibire-Melisi (ሲኦል Hell-Counter): This technique is a close-quarter counter attack that will almost always result in the demise of your opponent. You will bait your opponent into swinging his weapon at you with the intent to kill (whether it be blade, fist, spear, etc), Sabel Ke'ala erupting with a sickly green aura. You raise the blade to defend yourself into a guarded, defensive stance, letting their weapon bash against yours. The moment their weapon clashes against yours and you enter a bladelock, the spirit form of Menoetius' arm will grow from your back, ghastly and spectral. In its hand, he will wield an even larger version of Sabel Ke'ala, which will be in motion to trample your opponent underneath it. In effect, this should be a one-shot kill due to how fast the entire procedure will occur. The moment you enter a bladelock with your opponent, they are already being dwarfed in the shadow of Menoetius' blade coming down on top of them. It should transpire in a split second after your opponent enters a bladelock with you. The descending fury of Menoetius' attack is enough to crush, sever and dismantle the opponent, then proceed to collide with the earth and erupt a cataclysmic upheaval of soil into the air, much like a geyser.
Midiri Mek’abiri (ምድር መቃብር Molten Grave): The third part of the counter technique, if the opponent manages to somehow react fast enough to evade the final blow Menoetius was intending to land. If they managed to subdue the blade cresting down onto their head (stop it from falling, block it) then the third part of this technique cannot unlock itself and become available for use. Soil HAS to erupt from the ground in order to use this technique. If they circumvented death by rolling, leaping, jumping away, then this technique will immediately cast itself. The dirt that is thrown upward into the air from the impact will immediately halt in motion, no longer being flung upward with all of its momentum suddenly hampered--as if the air itself were holding its breath. This will occur while your opponent is still mid-leap, mid-roll or in the middle type of evasion from the initial onslaught. Then, the cloud of dirt and rock will pursue the opponent at a rocketed pace, clambering over their body until they're in a sarcophagus of rock, then proceed to melt over into volcanic matter. Trapped underneath the weight of smelted lava, they will combust into flame and become apart of a funeral pyre.
Demini Ledemi (ደምን ለደም "Blood for Blood"): Grants you even greater strength when blood flows freely. As injuries accumulate, you'll find that your physical strength, speed and durability increases in proportion to the injuries suffered. Even more, crippling injuries even those that would prove fatal no longer impede your movements nor could your mind. Blood begets blood, and this proves itself an axiom while Menoetius is released. As battles rage on, and blood spills across its hallowed ground, the combatants grow fierce and more powerful then they ever were before. Those on the brink of death experience a multiplication in strength.

NINE KILLS - blightblazer
A great power dwells within the ceremonial blade now, a veritable churning sea of chaotic energies from the Blind Eternities which surge with catastrophic power. A white aura engulfs you, its flame-like undulations licking across you as arcs of lightning burst intermittently. Your power is distinctly visible on the world, casting everything else in blurred tones. Terrifying to behold, your entire body becomes herculean, rippling muscles wartorn with scars and pale, albino skin making up your body. Your hair lengthens, loses color to become white and a bull's mask animates over your face. A golden septim, or nosering hangs from the nasal protrusion of the mask and two horns are now positioned above your ears. Shirtless and only wearing a metal waistcuff with a red kilt, you're more beast then man.
Blightblazer Sabel Ke'ala: The ceremonial blade changes shape again and instead becomes a polearm, a staff with a longblade at the head of it. It appears now as though it has had more than its share of lifetimes, worn and bloodied with a rusted and blunt blade (but loses no amount of cutting ability).
-Nemesis Star: You point your hand outward, a single finger extended. The faint echo of a million screams filters in, pale light gathering as fragmented souls of those you have slain, their ghostly visage briefly visible before they are pulled into an inky black swirling core of rippling power. With the barest of effort, this atrocity against life itself is unleashed. For a being of your strength, a single use of this attack is sufficient to cause the rapid decay of all matter within sight. Perception momentarily cracks, the shapes and forms of objects and persons become distorted, bent and twisted beyond recognition for but a split second. It is an assault on the fabric of reality, and the damage it inflicts on those caught in its path is even more horrific. Every mote of energy rips into the world, casting its taint outward like a grasping hand corrupted by disease. The earth itself is scorched black as thin, red, spidery veins creep along its surface. The air itself chokes and gasps with sickly white smoke that is highly toxic to the touch.
-Yeberēwin Debik’i (የበሬውን ደብቅ Impenetrable Hide of the Ox-god): Creates a nigh impenetrable bubble of compressed, layered energy so dense as to require repeated and numerous assaults all at once to even crack. The barrier itself is imperceptible to the naked eye, though the avatar can will it into visible view. It appears as a shimmering matrix of overlapping colors that extend beyond your person out to several meters. Any form of attack is halted a meter before it even comes close to you. This is a product of the avatar's overwhelming, raw power and not any shaping affect, and thus the defenses while extremely durable are simple in nature. To even bypass the defenses, one must contend with six folds of power that require a coordinated assault to even breach, lest they replenish themselves and close the window of opportunity. Because this is a product of your transformation, much like a new layer of skin, it is not a defense that can be "countered" as they are as much an aspect of your being as your arms are legs, they are merely an extension of your unbridled strength.
The avatar gestures casually in the air, a soft warble sound accompanying the action as thin lines dissect the space before you, tearing open to reveal an inky black void, an inter-dimensional gateway to the Blind Eternities.

-No Land Beyond: This is a power saved not for a single opponent but the complete and utter annihilation of an entire region or locale, the sheer overwhelming strength of this demands nothing less. The sacrificial blade, the nuclei of your power is the tool by which blood is drawn, as you slice across your hand then raise it to the heavens above. In an instant the skies blacken, the chorus of a dying legion echoes through the air. The tormented and anguished screams of souls you've consumed are the prelude to this symphony of destruction. Afterward, all sound stops, a speck of darkness so black as to devour all light itself forms in the air. Color itself is ripped away with such visceral suddenness as to jar the senses, while the orb greedily consumes anything and everything to swell to enormous size. There is no wind, no sound, only silence as the certainty of death itself hangs in the air. Victims are not obliterated by a direct assault, instead being pulled, everything being pulled into its yawning, abysmal depths. All that enters into its horizon are utterly destroyed, there is nothing left, not ash, nothing. Maintaining such a power requires immense concentration for the power involved distorts not just space but time itself, as the entirety of this spectacle lasts in real time for but a moment, but for those who were in its vicinity, seconds to minutes pass as they struggle in vain before being sucked into its core. The pull of the void is great enough to rip apart whole mountains and consume an entire city.
