That fateful night the Emanation were pushed into the realm between realms, banished by the Golden Heretic, their headcount came back missing one. Where was Prometheus, they asked? Swindler, Deceiver, they called him. He arrived shortly after . . . and fled, pursued by Kerberos. What his fate was we cannot say, but as the Emanation waited, so the story goes, they were suddenly struck by a strange, deep sound. A rumble echoed through the vast Eternities: a Single. Satisfied. Belch.
First off and foremost, those that possess a Worm of this Emanation will begin to display sociopathic tendencies such as being divinely alluring, charismatic and indifferent to one’s emotional permanency. This allows them to mask their Killing Intent to get close to their victims as they let their guard down and consume them. They appear just as normal as anyone else until they get a chance to consume either flesh or blood. From here, they resemble something out of a horror novel. Their personality becomes deeply sadistic with a pure and unforgiving desire to consume flesh. As mentioned before, this Emanation grants the user a plethora of abilities which revolve around the manipulation of their own body and other abilities that they obtain. This is done by simply consuming the flesh or blood of the opponent. After doing so, the host is granted their abilities for a vacillating amount of time. |
Feasting on enemies like his own personal buffet, his hunger for battle is primal. This is Kerberos, the devourer, the insatiable.
Dinner is best served with a side of mayhem. Bon appétit.
Indulge amid the stench of battle when you channel Kerberos the voracious gourmand, who greedily swallows armies into his fathomless maw. Corpulent and courageous, he consumes prey to invigorate kindred warriors, or disgorges the eaten out drenched in putrid acidic bile. Prowl through strongholds as a hounded menace, leaving cadavers your wake.
activation ritual
Stray wisps of upward-flowing hellish energy come in and out of existence around you, like an aura trying to take shape. Your skin, grey and lifeless, splits like tree bark and your hair bursts loose from its bonds, lengthening and becoming a despondently dark grey. Your discolored eyes melt into a heavier, more ruddy color while your bones move under your skin like snakes. Your opponent can hear cracks slice through you as your toes curl into the cement of the ground, your anatomy undergoing metamorphosis. Once you're done, your joints become fleeced in wiry black fur, flexed like a charging bull. Now, wherever your fang or claw penetrates an opponent's body, the wound will widen, the flesh at the edges disintegrating like sugar in boiling water. Your teeth can shear through soft, yielding tissue, creating gaping wounds in your opponent.
UNLOCKED PASSIVE TRAITS
The Hunger (Bhōka): is the main ability that Kerberos grants to his host. As previously mentioned, it grants the host to consume all of creation--but not in a literal sense. It permits them to consume and digest virtually any substance, unharmed, regardless of its mass or energy level. When the object is consumed, the host is able to implement individual aspects of the consumed object, such as its molecular structure and genetic make-up. For example, when a "kekkei mōra," shinobi (Naruto reference) is consumed, the genetic structure is merged with the constantly changing make-up of the host, allowing them to perfectly merge without one overpowering the other. They can also materialize components of the consumed substance such as appearance, mannerisms and even their voice with flawless, yet eerie precision. Their hunger goes beyond the flesh and blood, as previous hosts have also been known to consume Natural Energy and regular energy just the same. For most species, there is a natural limit to what you are able to eat at in one sitting, which is call "satiety." For Kerberos, that is not the case, as he and his host possess an indefinite digestive system. Whatever is devoured is forbidden to escape and it is a truth that's been held true since Kerberos' inception, though its not to say that escape is impossible. Once inside the stomach of the host, it will appear strikingly similar to an island in the middle of a green, nuclear ocean. The entire stomach of the host (and Kerberos' by extension) is filled with a corrosive acid that is capable of corroding nearly any substance at an alarming rate, much like hydrogen sulfide but without the innate flammability.
The Exposed Bone (Niṣkarṣita Haḍḍī): This trait allows the host to manipulate their skeletal structure (their osteoblasts and osteoclasts). Their skeletal structure is absolutely alien in nature as it is constantly in a state of metamorphosis. Within moments, the host can sprout a high volume of bone from any point in their body and can retract them just as fast. As a minimum, the host maintains a thick layer of bone armor whose density is comparable to fundamental steel. The host can create colossal constructs from the regurgitated remains of their opponents. The colossal skeletal entities are powerful enough to physically overpower massive beings and are able to withstand the impact from powerful attacks. Normally, in most cases the bones are summoned in a manner that comes from ones body, but more advanced users can make them materialize from thin air for the element of surprise.
Blood Spiral (Rakta Sarpala): The manipulation of blood, not just limited to the manipulation of human blood. The host of Kerberos is able to manipulate the blood of all creatures whom contain liquid. Therefore, the blood manipulation of organisms or the physical equivalent becomes susceptible to manipulation of the host. For themselves, the host is able to control their blood even in its most minuscule state. No matter the amount of blood left within their body, the host constantly produces the necessary amount by converting the surrounding natural energy into their body, which in turn is used to stimulate the process of haemopoiesis, the procedure to create blood. The host is able to manipulate the blood of those within their vicinity via an exertion of will or mere contact that involves the senses of touch, sight and olfactory.

UNLOCKED TECHNIQUES / summonings / abilities
SUMMONING: The Hungry Ghost (Ḍara) are the eternally suffering spirits and summonings of Kerberos, and by extension, his host. In the convoluted history of the Blind Eternities, legend states that its inhabitats are in a state of eternal woe, able to seek food but never able to become satisfied. Unmitigated disdain for the souls whom committed foul acts of gluttony, this is where their souls lie. In appearance, the Ḍara appear as deranged spirits that come from a world of unyielding torment and are in constant suffrage of hunger and thirst. They resemble the human form yet have horrendous bulging bellies, gaping maws and fragile limbs. The Ḍara cannot be seen by normal means or even energy sensing techniques. However, those who can sense negative emotions or have a heightened ocular prowess are able to feel a fleeting, ephemeral presence that will give a spine chilling sensation. They are not very good combatants in the normal sense but what they lack in offense, they make it up ten-fold in support operations. Due to them being completely invisible to energy viewing methods, the Ḍara are able to sneak up to an unsuspecting opponent and absorb their energy and life-force relatively quick. The user is able to summon multiple Ḍara at once to swiftly take out all forms of opposition and obstacles. As ghosts, they are permitted to do the supernatural, such as walking through walls, displaying a form of levitation and become untraceable. As Ḍara from the Blind Eternities, they are unable to interact properly with the environment of the normal world, but will leave small hints such as wind gusts or impressions in the grass.
