ATLAS - TO OVERCOME
Atlas is brilliant and withstanding. Atlas is trial and the exaltation of endurance. To be bold and in control is the nature of Atlas, the unshakable.
"In this fêted Realm, I am Endurance. Tension and suffering pushes me down and buries my face in the muck. But even then, I am sweet fire ablaze the torch, burning in the abstractions between agony and patience. From this day until my last, I will experience an infinite suffering to show my fidelity to you, Creator."
Atlas is the force that resists. Stalwart in the face of adversity, this great leader carried his ilk through their darkest hour. He is the strength to endure, regardless of suffering. When we feel that we are beyond our limits and new strength continues to emerge, we find the embrace of Atlas. With any increase in force, he too grows stronger, each challenge met with equal vigor. The world is the weight of a great bounder resting upon our shoulders and the strength to carry it. Atlas was a good-hearted warrior with a strong moral code and was angered when he saw an act that went against his morals. Atlas valued the lives of the innocent (be they mortal or god) and didn't believe in sacrificing the innocent for ANY reason (good or evil) as he greatly disapproved of Kronos' attacks on Anu and outright challenged Kronos for command of the Titan's—the colossal failure resulting in his bondage to carry the world. |
A very important thing to note about using Atlas is that he is a brawler-type Emanation. The defense and offense utility he grants is unparalleled, but he has few actual abilities because all of his power comes from taking advantage of the herculean physical parameters that he bestows. He isn't your standard ability flinger, spray-and-pray or sitback Emanation(s). You pursue your opponent at full-thrust, crumble enemy barricades underneath your overwhelming might, and swing wantonly to deliver a devastating death.

Powers and abilities
Passive Abilities:
FIRST TRIAL
**Requirements: 10 minutes into a battle, an attack landed flush on you and the opponent.
Your hair spikes up and becomes white in color (strain, loss of energy), your skin becomes sunburnt (exposure to intense heat) and your muscles engorge. Your eyes glow white and although you have irises, you no longer have pupils. Your armor and clothes become torn, leaving you only with golden gauntlets and greaves with your trousers tucked into them. Markings on your skin that somewhat resemble cracking old plaster begin to create trenches across your swarthy, burnt skin, pumping energy so deeply throughout that it resembles lava. You stand tall; a stone statue come to life. Two pairs of golden arms spread from your back, and you appear as though you have one torso but with two faces back-to-back with its own set of arms. Curiously, the arms can be seen poised in the air as though lifting something or held in a Mudra. These are gestures of the hand and fingers used in ceremonies and dance, a root of Sanskrit belief on the human world. You leave a trail of orange energy when you're moving, and in this state, your durability is increased tenfold as well as your strength, you gain unlimited stamina and every other aspect of the body, spiritual, material and et cetera.
Your core begins to crack over, trenching across your skin, somewhat resembling old plaster. Between the fissures glows a molten orange light, the remaining fragments of your core shedding throughout the fight. On top of this, your muscles engorge and the pupils of your eyes fade to leave you with pure white irides. While your robes hang in tatters to expose a crater in your chest that pulses in time with your crux, a ghastly spirit rises behind you...taking on the shape of a six-armed colossi with a balded head. This is Atlas in Delta form, his body seemingly translucent and made out of the essence of stars, a projection from the Blind Eternities. In this form you are able to blitz your opponent with your own two fists, which are strong enough to punch through the strongest earthly metals without sustaining damage, and the other three pairs coming from Atlas' projection. Blood leaks from your nose, eyes and/or lips, while your three pairs of arms move independently behind your back. Atlas' hands are not able to manifest on the physical plane, and as a result cannot interact with objects in that dimension - but are able to make contact with those your actual hands cannot. They are able to grasp onto spiritual, buddhaic, celestial, emotional and conceptual attacks. They can grab that which make little to no sense - as seen when they grabbed the "space" around the user and yanked on it, making the opponent feel as though the area around them were being "dragged" towards Atlas. Furthermore, if these hands were to punch through an opponent, they would do no physical harm on an opponent but can effectively strike their soul and/or energy circuits, making them just as powerful an offense as they are a defense. Because you're channeling his power from the Blind Eternities, you also unlock a new passive that is forcefully activated known as Damnation (mentioned above.)
Ninth Naga Strike: A dashing close-combat attack that uses the enhanced speed of Atlas to simultaneously strike all nine vital spots of an opponent's body. It is considered to be nigh-undodgeable and nearly unblockable due to the enigmatic speed of the attack which masks its true workings. Each of your hands (all four of them) will form thin energy blades and attack all nine spots so quickly that all nine strikes appear to have been performed by your hands. These "energy blades," created are only illusionary, which make the entire motion look like a singular attack, while it's actually nine individual strikes happening too quickly to identify each one.
STANCE: Seismic Needle
Over Cherry Blossoms: Sink back into a stance as if you were preparing to charge, and then suddenly flash forward so fast that you shatter through the sound barrier with a loud "thwack." Your opponent becomes smashed against a meteor of fists and fire, unable to discern that you're the deliverer of these strikes, sealed in that position as the thickness of your presence prevents them from moving their limbs (unless they're in a heightened state). You can slide up to twenty yards forward after you lock positions with your opponent, scoring through trees and pulverizing boulders with gouts of flame and blinding smoke which wreathes you. After the flurry ends, there will be a deep, lava-encrusted canal trenched through the earth behind you for miles.
With Every Breath: Sink back into a stance as if you were preparing to charge, then blitz forward and leave twin fire trails behind you wherever your path follows. Cut a circular path around your opponent, circumnavigating them, with each step creating a cataclysmic tornado around them. As you mill around them at blurring speeds, the oxygen within the eye of the storm is consumed into the twister, the resulting friction of your feet combusting it into an hellish storm which screams and howls. Opponents will become simmered in seconds or collapse from strangulation. Powerful when used with a binding technique that ensures they cannot teleport out. -combo with Ninurta, roots wrapping around their ankles to stop them from moving-
Sky is Free: Opponents in a higher state of existence will likely be undamaged by the technique, or those that are stubborn and underestimate its power. Leap upward into the air as the tornado thunders around them, and then sink into the Seismic Needle stance right above the eye of the storm. You propel downward onto them as though you were slung from a catapult, all of the momentum carrying you downward while your fist or leg are extended outward. The entire storm will collapse like a fracturing wave over your opponent, followed by your fist, creating a seismic compression wave that can shatter windows for miles on end.
Enlightenment: Slide back into a stance as if you were preparing to charge, but hold your ground and maintain an entirely still position--like a statue. When an opponent lands a physical strike on you, your body momentarily shimmers over with a bronze glow, and rather than taking the brunt of the damage, you're filled with a burst of physical energy that you throw into a strike of your own. This is only good to defend one strike, as any other attack on you will shatter the bronze aura and all of the damage will ground against your body.
- Endure: The ability to endure anything at least once. In short, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, constantly making your capacity for damage the strongest thing you've ever been hit with and survived against. This passive is already set at a gauge of the weight of an entire world crashing down on your shoulders, making anything less than that brush off of your skin. You're also unable to feel physical pain, immune to bleeding or loss of limb. Death due to old age (as opposed to preemptive death) is seemingly the only cause of death to the user aside from setting a stronger precedent.
- Rage = Power: Your power while channeling Atlas is proportionate to your level of rage, anger or resolution. This plays a major role in the kit as it allows the user to constantly build up and increase their energy output to what could be infinite levels the more rage he builds up. Using this infernal energy, the user's capabilities includes producing fist-channeled blasts of varying size and intensity, enhanced physical strength, multiple energy based attacks, jumping ability of extraordinary distances, flight at high speeds, even the generation of colossal Titan-based arms constructs. Those who contain Atlas' essence have also shown to be able to revive after death due to rage not letting the body and spirit die, which make you come back angrier and stronger than before.
- Reality Anchoring: This ability prevents illusions being cast upon the user, and prevents him from being banished into any plane or realm. He is bound to whatever realm he travels to until he leaves by will. His soul is held by the chains of Atlas, and only release when he chooses. The chains of Atlas travel into the core of any realm he is in, and creates a bound field around him. The chains cannot be broken without the proper frequency required to shatter them because they are resistant to other energies.
- Damnation: A radioactive pulse from the Blind Eternities that emits from your body while you are in Delta form. These pulses are invisible to the naked eye, but to those with a more keen ocular ability, they can see a glowering red smoke wafting off of your body. This smoke is easy to dilute in the air but is very potent as a sinister cloud surrounding the user, entropy befalling all that it touches in grotesque, storybook nightmare ways. Plant life begin to wage war on one another, fauna (creatures) morph into warped versions of themselves and other energies are capable of becoming sentient within the range of the radiation. This is an extension of the rampant energies within the Blind Eternities and are thus unstudied and wildly unpredictable, new effects occurring with each time the ability is used.

Pyroclasm:
Kashiwade (Prayer): Kashiwade is a shrine prayer that involves clapping one's hands together. All four of your hands are capable of coming together with a clap and suddenly shattering whatever lies between them. This requires an impeccable timing in order to catch and shatter projectiles.
Kashiwade Second Step (Division): All four hands come together as if gesturing to rip a piece of paper, waiting for an attack to reach you. At the very last moment, tear your two sets of hands away from one another, and anything approaching you will suddenly have all their element-based nature torn away, leaving only an indistinguishable orb of scattering energy. If a fireball were approaching you, it would appear to have its "flames" torn off like paper, revealing the orb of energy that fueled it. With this ability you're fit to sink your hands into the energy threads that bound something together and rip them apart to scatter it impotently.
Kashiwade Third Step (Mantra): All four of your hands aim their palms outward, using your overwhelming physical power to brake the movement of energy around you, causing any technique or opponent to struggle in advancing. The potency of this technique allows you to sedate a bolt of lightning to the point where it can be avoided at a walking pace. If it were used against something like a fireball, it would come to a sudden halt like a wave stuck in time, flowing against an invisible wall. If something is too powerful or too fast, the fingers of your hands will quiver in strain, and if it ultimately punches through your "guard," your arms will shatter.
Heavenly Eyed Bodhisattva of the Big Dipper:
World-Scattering Hand Envelope: An ability designed by Thel 'Vadam to neutralize the ceaseless dodging of desperate opponents attempting to escape his fury. Using either your own two set of arms or Atlas' titanic arm in the sky, you can create a pentacle ward by outstretching your hands or placing them on the ground, five node-points stretching outward across the ground to create a bound field. Within this field, energy will become "suppressed." This renders all form of energy manipulation, manifestation or release difficult within the localized zone of this field.
GOD FIST: A echoing sound can be heard, like the ringing of a great steel vessel, followed by a cacophony of destruction. The effort of this attack will show itself as a grimace on your expression, sweat beading from your forehead as Atlas' massive hand pulses with a well of aetheric energy, a bright blue swirling glow consuming the battlefield. Afterimages of swirling blue dance behind the eyes (mind) of your opponent, sending them off balance, all of their senses swimming and mind reeling. At the very last moment, the massive fist curls into a fist, fingers inflated like a balloon puppet. Twist your hips to send the fist forward and it blasts across the field, capable of shattering through mountain chains and striking into a "dimension," of your choice. This attack is fit to strike physically, spiritually, emotionally, consciously, or any other plane of existence which can be affected by a strike.

Third Trial
**Requirements: The ensuing battle at stake must have a large enough "weight" on the precipice of its result. Its outcome must give an enduring glory to one side or the other. An ultimate shame or prestige will be granted to the participants, and your motto in this third level is "death before dishonor."
Your opponents charge suddenly becomes abbreviated by chains of brilliant white energy, which erupt from the ground to shackle their limbs. As your opponents strain against the fetter, more chains will follow.
Take in a deep breath of dust-hazed air created by your destruction in previous phases.... rusted chains become visible, crisscrossing the land from horizon to horizon. They curl and stretch and rearrange themselves, coiling in on you, the ground underneath the field rippling with blue light. A tripartite (three point) rune a hundred feet wide appears on the floor of the valley in fierce blue fire, miles-long loops of chains appearing from the glyph, lashing around you and pulling hard. The land will lurch with the effort and your body will become chained down to the earth, the burden of Atlas binding you with the weight of the world. This is his attempt at controlling your power, an attempt at restraining you from using the rest of his reservoir, and if you manage to escape.....
